How reliable are online credit card comparison pages?
Trendline - Evolutia pietei

Hi everyone,

I decided to get a new credit card sometime ago and started searching for information online.
I found loads of these online comparison tools for credit cards b (where you can also apply online). http://www.creditcardapplications.us/ , for instance, was one that looked really nice and reliable.
It was quite useful for me to see the credit cards I liked in direct comparison.
However - here comes my question - I am not sure if those pages are really secure!!

Do you think that it is secure to order your credit card via such a website?

Probably some of you have already used one of those pages - I would appreciate if you could tell me about your experiences.
Right now I am really unsure about what to do!!

Thanks,
Owen

I've applied for a few different cards through such sites and have found them to be safe.

Those types of sites generally link to a credit card application page that is secure (encrypted connection) so you don't have to worry about the personal info you're entering being intercepted by snoops. You can confirm the secure connection by the little padlock symbol in your browser (or the https:// on the front of the URL as previously mentioned).

Where's a good Credit Card Comparison website?

Hey, I'm looking for a great credit card comparison website that actually reviews and shows information on different credit cards. Any one know of where I can find a good site like that?

Credit card comparison sites are a dime a dozen, but one that I've recently seen and used can be found at http://www.get-mycard.net.

They seem to pull together a lot of good information from multiple credit card offers/sites and give you the vital information to make an informed decision.

I hope this helps!

Any good credit card comparison site? Wich one do you recomend to earn flight tickets?

I want to transfer my old credit card balance to a new one. I have 6 months 0% APR on one but it's about to expire.

* Can I transfer to another credit card with 0% apr for another 6 more months (or more) without paying any penalty?
* Where do I have to look at if I have to pay penalty or not? My current cc or the new one?
* Any good credit card comparison site?
* which one is the best for earning miles to buy airline tickets?
* I don't care on the APR

Yahoo credit card comparison?

Okay, so it's been a year (about, maybe more) since I accessed the feature.....but I remember being able to compare credit cards. You entered in what your current card is/was and what you paid (annual fee, as well as monthly balance) and....maybe one or two other details, and Yahoo pointed you to cards that offered better deals. The 'better' included better rewards (points, cash back, airline miles, etc.) or better rates. Is this tool still around? If not on Yahoo, any idea where I could find a similar tool?
Thanks.

For a student, it can be difficult to get a credit card that saves money on gas. The best credit cards require a minimum annual income. The average college student does not have the time for classes and a job. Those who do work after class still do not earn enough to qualify for most rewards credit cards. A student usually only qualifies for basic credit card. For a student who drives there are some student gas credit cards available.
