I received an application for AmEx, and it states that one can now utilize a revolving charge account. I thought that was only Visa/Mastercard.
I looked everywhere thru the information and nowhere found a credit limit, as all Visa and Mastercard do.
Anyone know about this?
Amex has no limit but the bill must be paid in full at the end of each month.. be careful with those ...

I do most of my shopping at target so the 10% off days would be handy, and I really love that they donate a percentage to the schools. From what I can tell, it seems about average rate-wise compared to the other cards I am looking at. Is it a good option?
The Target Red card and Visa is a good choice since you save the 10% one 24 hours worth of shopping. Also, if you shop there as much as you say, for every $1000 you spend with the red card and I think every $500 you get another 10%.
And target donate 1% of what you spend to the school of your choice.
THe only negative side is the interest rate ranges from 16% to 28%, so make sure you pay it off.

The most recent win came this week, when a proposal to establish a new consumer watchdog agency passed a key House vote . Because of some savvy lobbying, the final version of the bill exempts thousands of small banks and credit unions from heightened examination and enforcement.
Earlier this year, credit unions helped ring the death knell for a Senate proposal that would have opened the door for judges to lower mortgage balances for bankrupt homeowners. Separately, small banks convinced the FDIC to reduce their insurance fund fees, saving them millions.
