I want a Chase Freedom credit card because it offers cash back and I tend to be spendy. How does cash back program really work? I mean do you have to spend a certain amount to get cash back or what's the deal?
Yes, some credit cards you earn points everytime you use it. For every $1 retail, you earn 1 point (balance transfer or direct deposit are not eligible). Sometimes you earn 1% cash back, other credit cards you may earn 5%. Each card works differently. You can only redeem points starting at 2500 points with BOA. To redeem the points for cash, just call their customer service.
When you return the merchandize, the points will be deducted from your account.

I just started an eBay business and don't have a lot of money. What's the best credit card cash back program someone like me can enroll in that would allow me to recoup some of the losses I'm experiencing in sales due to eBay's numerous fees, shipping costs, etc.?
I think that Discover card has the best cash back cards, check out www.fastcreditcardapprovals.com under reward cards here you will be able to compare them all side by side on rates, fees and rewards
I already have a pretty good cash back credit card I use all the time. I was wondering if you guys have had great experience with a cash back credit card that you may wish to recommend. The thing is, I like cash back cards because I like to put my money to work for me right away, instead of wait for reward points to accumulate. I'm looking forward to your suggestions. Thank you so much for your time!!! All the best!!!
Some of the best cash back cards are the AmEx Blue Cash (not "Blue"; "Blue Cash"), Chase Freedom, Citi Professional, and Fidelity Signature Rewards (1.5% back on all spending, no tiers, if you deposit into a Fidelity account).
The card that's best for you will depend on your spending profile (how much you spend and in which categories).
To quickly see which card will pay you the most for your normal spending, you can use this rewards calculator:
http://www.creditcardtuneup.com/
Note that the calculator converts all reward currencies (miles, points, cash) to dollars so you can do an apples-to-apples comparison of all cards. You can also exclude the non-cash-back cards, if you don't want to consider any card that doesn't pay rewards in cash.
I want to take out a cash back credit card, the one I have at the moment doesn't offer any cash back or vouchers...nothing! I always pay my balance in full and don't really care about balance transfer and all that. just the best in terms of giving me a % back for the money I spend on my card.
any suggestions? Please?
thank you!
I would have to say Discover card they offer up to 5% cash back sometimes even more, check out www.fastcreditcardapprovals.com under cash back cards.
I am looking for a cash back card.
if you spend more than 6500 each year on cards, get the amex one listed at the following site because they give you unbeatable rates after you spend 6500. If not, u'll find citi dividend card which is second best in my opinion. There are few others as well listed at the site below. Do you research before you apply!! good luck!
The Fine Print Behind Credit Card Rewards
In the last year, 15 percent of American adults, or nearly 34 million people, have been late making a credit card payment. Additionally, the credit card default rate in 2009 was the highest it’s been since 1991. These days, many cardholders have no choice but to miss one or more of their credit card payments. However, what many consumers don’t realize is that by doing so, they may not only be damaging their credit score, but also sacrificing the benefits that their credit card reward programs offer.
While it’s true that in recent months consumers have been posing more detailed questions about the ins and outs of the terms on their credit card accounts, most of the information that’s circulating around to satisfy these questions addresses finance charges and interest rates. What about rewards?
Cash In With A Cash Back Credit Card
A cash back credit card will give you the chance to earn as you spend. A percentage is returned to you on an annual basis for every pound that you have spent. This is usually set at between 0.5% and 2% depending on how generous the credit card lender is. And as I have said already and I cannot stress enough is you should be able to pay off your credit card statement in full each month as is the only way that a cash back credit card will work for you.
A cash back credit card is not for everyone
If you are a borrower then a cash back credit card will only cost you, even though you will be earning a little back, you will find that this will be eaten up and more by the interest charges, which are usually on a higher scale of APR.
