Canara Bank Credit Card

I think to open an account with canara bank it costs rs.500 and they will give atm cum debit card. But my question is can i use that atm/debit card to purchase online and use on paypal. If not which bank allows this. But i cant get a credit card. I not having more than rs.1000 to create account at any other bank. Thanks in advance.

i have canara bank debit card but it has no card verification number to activate paypal account what i have to do.if idon't also credit card

Credit/debit cards' verification number is generally the last three digits on the back of the card. If not, you can always get it from the card provider.

Guys am from India...I took a debit card from Canara bank ...When i tried to verify in paypal or alertpay it said " the credit card has been denied by the bank"....As am just a student i cant own a credit card for myself..So is der anyway to transfer cash using my debit card?..please help...waiting for replies

A debit card is just a card tied to your bank account. Rather than use that card (which obviously doesn't have a Visa or MC-like provider behind it, or else you could use it), just put your bank account information into PayPal instead.

Then you can make an instant bank transfer to your PayPal account, or you can pay with electronic check (though that can take 3-5 days to clear, on average).
