What is the best balance transfer credit card for a $1300 balance???

I want to transfer the balances of two credit cards to one balance transfer credit card with a low APR... One of my cards is maxed out ($800). Problem is I had to quit my job to give birth to my second child so I am unemployed, eighteen years old and i just started my credit history.. I need to clear my balance the best way possible what card do you think I would qualify for?? HELP I need financial advice!!

You shouldn't have gotten a credit card in the first place. You've got a hard road ahead of you but you need to start paying off that debt before it controls your life. Get back to work as soon as possible and take care of this. Then buy only for cash until you have some savings.

You write well so should be able to work your way up and earn more money at a better job. Hang in there and stop following the crowd--they are jumping off a cliff.

What is the best 0% transfer credit card program out there?

I'm trying to consolidate a few credit cards into a simpler single payment with 0% transfer for a year. Does anyone have recommendations for this? I'm trying to find one with a good cap on transfer fees (or no transfer fees!) and a long 0% time.

Who offers the best zero-interest transfer credit card?

I'm looking for a zero-interest transfer credit card, with no transfer fees, 12 months or more zero interest on transfers, a low interest rate after the zero interest period, no annual fees, long grace periods. Also, I want to avoid cards that change the terms of service after transfer, even though the cardholder has not paid late. Can you recommend any cards that should work for me? Additionally, are there any other criteria that I should be aware of? Thank you.

There are literally hunderds of different cards out there and between those cards, hundreds of different plans. You might want to try this website that has some pretty good tools for doing some side by side comparisons.

Best credit card to transfer balances too?

I have quite a few store credit cards with high APR's and would like to know the absolute best credit card to transfer my balances to.

You can find a complete list of 'balance transfer' credit cards here:

http://www.asapcreditcard.com/0-apr.html

There was a time when the best balance transfer deals included 'no balance transfer fee'. But nowadays, every major credit card issuer includes a balance transfer fee since so many people were taking advantage (and abusing) these offers.

But you can still save a lot of money on interest charges-- even with the balance transfer fee! Consider the Discover More, Rewards Advantage (from First National), or the Chase Platinum Card. All great balance transfer deals with a 0% APR for 12 months and a $75 CAP on the balance transfer fee.

Hope this helps. GOOD LUCK!

  • How Can A Balance Transfer Credit Card Work For You

A balance transfer can work to your advantage when you have an unpaid balance on your existing credit card. You may ask what reason is there to transfer my outstanding balance from one card to another. For starters most of the cards that offer balance transfers have lower interest rates than your existing credit card. This makes you save lots of money when making payments not to mention the convenience of only having to deal with one card to make your payments. The best possible scenario for you to get a balance transfer card is if you are just making the minimum payment on your existing card bill. By just making a minimum payment you will be getting a higher interest rate on your outstanding...
