One of my friend told me that president`s choice master card give $30 on every 30000 president`s choice points. Is there other more generous one?
PC isn't bad, you get 10 points for every dollar spent and can redeem 1,000 points for one dollar after you've accumulated 20,000.
http://www.pcpoints.ca/en/index.asp
Example, if you spent $100 you will accumulate 1,000 points which can be redeemed for $1. Basically we're talking about a 1% cashback program here (possibly 1.5% - I'm not sure if it's an EXTRA 5% for shopping at Presidents Choice participating stores).
I like the Citi "Drivers Edge" card, which has 2% which can be put against the purchase of a new or used car.

or the Citi Petro-Canada card which offers $0.02 off every litre of fuel (when gas was below $1.00/L this was a better deal at about 2%, now it's closer to 1.5%).
There's also the Amex "BlueSky" rewards card which essentially offers 1.25% back on rewards, primarily focused on travel.

Shop around, decide what sort of rewards you are after. Just don't forget that at 1 or 2% you'll need to spend $100,000 to get that $1,000 or $2,000 in rewards, so its going to take a little while.

I'm looking for a credit card with the best cashback. Can you recommend me something? I pay monthly religiously. Since I don't have a balance, I just like to take advantage for cash/rewards. Thanks!
Which card is best depends on what you buy.
I use the Citibank Platinum Dividend Select Mastercard. It offers 5% on supermarket, gasoline and drugstore purchases, 1% on everything else.
Other cards will offer varying percentages for different types of purchases. The key is to find the card that pays you the most for the stuff that you normally buy anyway.
My husband and I are responsible adults, have excellent credit and always pay our credit cards off in full every month, so we aren't looking for a lecture on how credit cards are bad...they aren't -unless you are irresponsible with them.
That said, what is the best credit card out there that offers incentives such as cash back? We aren't necessarily looking for frequent flyer miles because we don't fly very often, rather, we're looking for a card that will give us points for everyday purchases (groceries, mortgage, gas, car payments) that will give us cash back.
What is the best card for this? Thanks!
The Costco American Express card pays back 2 percent and does not have an annual fee. In addition, Costco also gives a rebate to Executive customers. We find it very beneficial.
I agree that credit cards are a great convenience if one uses them responsibly. We never pay any interest, and our cards are paid automatically from our bank account, so we don't even have to write a check or buy postage.
There may be other cash back cards. We had a card that paid "up to 2 percent" but it really only amounted to 1.4% on the first $10,000 of spending. We used that card until we charged $10,000 then switched to another. But now they only reward you with magazine subscriptions for which you have to pay. We use Master Card only if the store does nto accept AmEx.
I now have a Citi Dividend Pltinum Master Card that pays cash back, but they cut it down to a $300 limit per year.
I discovered today that President`s choice master card offer $20 cash back after 20000 points.I wonder if there is any other Canadian credit card that can do better$

Best Credit Card
Redit cards have a bad name in the personal finance world, you’ll find many bloggers shredding their credit cards and have negative things to say about credit cards. Often it is not the credit card that is the problem, but rather the person is being irresponsible in using them. Credit cards are just a tool and if used responsibly they can be a big part of your finances. I am not going to get into how to use a credit card or credit card management, those are topics I’ll discuss another time, for now let’s look at how you can choose the best credit card for your situation.
