i want to get a credit card ..i was looking at the best one to pick..but i cant tell if this one is a actual credit card or if its just a reloadable card..
It's reloadable but I learned my lesson from it. They tell you it's free but they charge you $1.00 for every transaction but no more than $10.00 a month. So if you use it regularly you're paying $120 a year at least! And most the money transfers you have to pay for unless its direct deposit. So I wouldn't call it a real credit card Capital One isn't even as crooked as that!

I get that you have to pay $19.95 for an activation fee & all, I'm just wondering what does capped at $10 per month mean? do i also have to pay $10 per month? and do they charge you if you don't deposit any money on your card for a while? how long can you leave money on your card for? up to how much?? your better off not even dealing with those cards, if you can't get
a real credit card then pay off your debt and in time you'll repair your credit and you can obtain a credit card down the line

Please don't do that...you would be paying fees and not getting to borrow money like on a regular credit card (they actually shouldn't call it a credit card) You should open up a checking account instead..you will still be building credit, most banks have visa or mastercard logos on there debit card, and you won't be paying as much in fees.
If you really want a credit card, but can't get a regular one, try a secured credit card.
I am doing a (made up) business plan for a marketing class and i wanted to start a credit card company like; visa, mastercard or how the have the baby phat card. How would i go about doing that? Visa and Mastercard started as a service, not a company itself. Visa started as BankAmerica and if fact just recently actually became a company (IPO is next month).
To start anew, you need a lot of capital. You are going into the lending business so you need many millions of dollars available. So you need to sell your service into a consortium of banks. The banks issue their own cards and service their own debt. They will pay you a very small portion for the right to use your name, system and management services. You have to sell-in: both to businesses and customers. Huge job here: businesses don't want your card because they already have to manage four and not many consumers have your card; Consumers don't want it because they already have many and yours is not accepted at many businesses. So, you'll have to offer many incentives to both. Maybe you start with one focus: an Expedia card for example. Its tied to your account at Expedia.com and offers discounts for all travel purchased there; airlines and hotels get especially promoted for accepting the card. Once established there, expand.
