What Airline mileage credit card is the best.?

I was just wondering what the best credit card is for aquiring airline mileage point. My sister has a frontier airlines mastercard, but I am not sure if that is the best card for me. I was looking at the Miles by Discover Card card. Does anyone have any other experience with other cards?

The best airline card depends a great deal on what airlines you typically fly. If you are looking for one on which you can accumulate miles that can be used on many different airlines, you might consider the Miles by Discover card. If you only fly Frontier, for example, you might want to get that card. On www.creditgumbo.com, we've reviewed three milage cards that seem to offer the best redemption rates and flexibility. If you have a few minutes, visit our Best Credit Cards page. Whatever card you choose, be aware of things like annual fees and the interest rate. They vary widely.

Airline credit card mileage limited to only cardholder?

Lets say I'll be going to college in the fall and my dad will be the airplane mileage credit cardholder, can he buy tickets for me using the mileage he accumulated? In other words can a cardholder buy airplane tickets for someone else?

Airmiles are accumulated by the individual cardholder, and are not under any circumstances transferable. Sorry, but I`m sure we`ve all tried at some stage!

Can someone tell me how the airline mileage credit cards work? Are they actually useful?

And if they advertise that you get 2500 bonus miles, can you fly almost anywhere at any time you want?

Pay cash up front for your ticket then work out what that ticket cost in credit purchases, You're miles in front getting cheaper credit and just buying travel. There are usually only a few seats available for these deals, really hard to fly where youwant, when you want.

What is the best credit card with airline mileage?

Please advise from your experience what is the best C.C. that can offer me good air mileage with no block out seats or days and that has many destinations like Hawaii, Europe, Middle east, Internal US, etc?

i don't have one, but you should go wo www.citi.com and see what cards they have they are offering 20000 points if you open a checking account with 1500.00 and something else, trust me you have to shop alot to get points it isn't like afew points. just to go to canada you need like 67000 points and that is for one person, so going to hawaii, and all the other places you listed you need to shop alot and also the points don't really add up as fast as you think or as fast as you want to go on vacation.

whats the best mileage credit card?

I am using United Airline's mileage credit card. Not sure if it is good or not.

I used to have one, but canceled because it didn't do me much good. The best way to earn miles for United is still to fly a lot. After about a year of using the credit card (and charging it a lot), I still did not make it past a general member. Slap on the $75 annual fee, and it wasn't worth it.<br />

Capital One is promoting their no blackout dates on any airline pretty agressively--I'd check that out.
