I'd like to be able to pay my rent using my credit card so I can get the rewards points, but my landlord doesn't accept credit card payments. I'd like to find an online site where, for a nominal fee, they will send out a check for the amount due.

I need to order a gift card (credit card) one you can use anywhere but I need to pay with paypal, Is there anyone who accepts paypal as a payment for it, from what I checked so far all the online people only accept credit cards as a payment help please
You can buy gift cards on eBay and often for a discount. Often people who receive gift cards would like to sell it for cash. You can pay on eBay with PayPal. Be sure to transact with a reputable seller so you have a good chance at receiving a valid card.
I'm weird. and nervous when it comes to this. I just recently started using my card in fast-food drive-thrus.
Ever since I went to get Chinese food at the mall and they didn't accept my card, I got paranoid!
so anyways. I'm bout to go to a skating rink tonight with my friends, and I don't feel like stopping by the ATM. Soo uh.. will they most likely accept cards? I tried looking online, but they don't have a website.
I'M JUST BEING PRECAUTIOUS. I don't wanna be turned down again like the chinese food place.....
Call them. Some places do and some do not. All depends on the owner and their preference. The movie theater where I live doesn't accept them but our small, skating rink does so that goes to show you theres no telling anymore.
I want to build a website that will provide certain information, targeted at a specific group of consumers. This information will come at a price. How and where do I go about setting up a site that has links to paypal, and/or accepts credit card/debit card/check payments online?
paypal is an easy way to do that.
If you want to deliver the information yourself (compile and email it to them) you don't need anything special, just invoice them with paypal. (set up a couple accounts, invoice yourself, refund the payment to get a feel for it) it's easy.
If you want to do it in an automated manner (your client gets instant access to the information) you'll need to work with paypal IPN. You can write the code yourself if you wish, but it's rather tedious.
Here is a freebie support class I wrote to help people do that:
http://www.geniegate.com/other/paypal/
If the information is something that they'd simply download, you can use a download tool. In this case, the customer makes a payment and can immediately download the file.
I wrote this tool (PayVeX) for selling these digital files "on demand":
http://www.geniegate.com/listings/payvex /
Customer makes payment and is immediately given access to a file.
If the information is in a database and is NOT something they can simply download, GenieGate:
http://www.geniegate.com/listings/dolphi n/
does memberships. (client must "sign up" and submit payment with paypal before being given access to certain areas of your site. You could, for example, provide a database interface for members only.
I believe amember:
http://www.amember.com/
will do the same thing.
Full disclosure, I wrote the stuff on geniegate.com, but I did NOT write amember, this is someone elses product.
Ryanair does not accept debit card when booking flights online so I will need to use my friend's credit card to book a flight. Will I have to show the credit card at check in?
That is odd because RyanAir did accept mine (I use Mastercard logo debit card), it did not accept at first due to insufficent funds. Once I loaded money on it and filled out online, it went through.
You do not show credit card at check-in. You do have to show proof of travel i.e. documents (boarding pass, e-ticket), passport. It has to be a right card in order for it to work - for example, if you have a logo of either Visa or Mastercard then it should go through.
Can you fight the banks and win?
The crazy thing is that it almost seems like the megabanks are trying to self destruct? They have virtually run amok since this credit crisis began in 2007. Everywhere you turn there are more stories about the injustices these businesses are raining down on the public. If ever we’ve seen a business model that seems to point to self destruct, we are seeing it with the big banks, investment businesses and credit card companies.
So why do we, the consumers, leave our money in the big banks; continue to run up more charges on the big bank credit cards; and continue to go to the big banks to apply for mortgages and other loans?
Doesn’t it seem reasonable that if we, the consumers, start doing something, perhaps these banks might have to take notice?
