What are the pros and cons of a 0 interest credit card?

There are many credit card companies that offer 0% interest for up to 12 months. What are the pros and cons?

0 interest credit cards are good for those who wants to transfer a balance from a credit card with high interest rate. By making the minimum payment ontime, u don't have to pay any interest and it gives you up to 12 months to pay the balance off. If you don't think u can pay it off in 12 months, it's better to get a credit card that offers a low fixed apr on balance transfers on the life of the balance.

Is there a way to transfer a loan to a 0% interest credit card?

I have a business loan through my bank for 10k. My bank doesn't want to give me a better rate even though my credit is good. Is there some way to transfer the balance on a loan onto a credit card?

I have been getting the same Capital One offer in the mail about twice a week for a month. It allows you transfer a balance for a 3% fee - then no interest until March 2010 - so essentially a 3% interest rate over the next year; not bad. Call them - see if they'll give you that deal.

  • 0% Interest Credit Cards, 12 Months Balance Transfer

So much has changed over the past few years in the credit card industry, what with new regulations, the disappearance of easy credit, the reduction of credit card offers and advertisements through the mail, and not to mention, the expiration of long term and lifetime balance transfer programs (and awesome card terms).
