i have two credit card and have fallen behind on payments, im really behind on money right now! what should i do!!
I would consolidate them into one new credit card that offers a good deal, like 0%- 5.99% for a specific time frame. That lowers the monthly payment, and its only 1 bill instead of 2 or more.

Hi.
Well the thing is pretty simple, i used to work one summer in us 5 years ago, opened couple credit cards and unsecured loan. i have not payed them back, and now i am willing to go to us to study. Could this debt from past be a reason for us officials nat to issue a student visa to me? Or they have nothing to do with someones finances?
Debt management programs helps people get out of debt faster. What it does it modifies the terms of any of your existing debt and lowers your principal balance as well as your monthly payments. I know a great company that can do this. They settle debt at 55 cents on the dollar. Send me an email for more info on the company to debtrelief@rocketmail.com
I carry over $40G in credit card debt due to some large life events. This debt has been consolidated into one account at my bank. I am about to retire and move to Indonesia. If I stop making payments after moving, what will happen? When will my credit be restored? The usual 7 years?
They will probably have to sue you in Indonesia which is not going to happen. They would need to follow government procedures to garnish wages.
Wow... you beat the system. Have fun abroad!!!
Hey, before you go... charge a few more things and mail them to me.
I can't wait to see the other responses.

She has about $20,000.00 in credit card debt. Most of the debt is medical related (prescription co-pays, deductibles), and some of the debt is very old.
She can quit paying debts at any time by (a) filing bankruptcy; (b) being forced into bankruptcy; or (c) have liens on any assets she owns like home, car, or whatever. This is a legal situation you are talking about which is best in the hands of an attorney. If she has any estate whatsoever, those credit card debts will have to be resolved before anything is passed down upon her death. This could be 10 years, 20 years, or 50 years but eventually it will happen. Speak with an attorney. If she's been paying on the debts even though it's not easy then she may have more assets than liabilities at which time the creditors will come after her legally.
i got like 8 g's of debt, i know if i stop paying im gonna mess my credit score, but what else could happen?
also i have a checking account with the same bank, could they close my account?
i dont own property, i just bought a lot of things for my house, and a car, i got the title for it
Not only does it mess up your credit, but you will get late fees out the butt! After a while, if you still haven't sent a payment, they have the right to send it to a collection agency and/or take you to court to get their money back. If you have an account with them, they may be able to close it but I don't know for sure. But if you are that far in debt and can't pay it, your best bet is to either do a debt consolidation-which is you take all your debt and put it in one lump sum say by a loan from the bank, or put it on another card with a low interest rate, and pay one monthly payment until it is paid in full. If that's not an option, as a family member to help, and if that's not an option, the last thing I would go with is bankruptcy. It's up to you of what you wish to do. Also try looking up some Debt Management Programs, google it, Yahoo it, anything, they may be able to help as well. Best of luck to you!
