I have been reviewing different websites for help with my credit card debt. Because of religious beliefs I am hoping to find someone that can offer Christian debt consolidation. Does anyone know who are the best Christan debt consolidators?
I have been a reporter and author on the debt industry for over 4 years. I have reviewed several companies in regards to Christian debt consolidation as several of my readers have asked this exact question. The main thing to look for is a company that offers several options, a free consultation, and has an excellent BBB rating. I have tried over 35 different services and this one has been the best above all others:

Are your bills all paid up fully, and are you free of debt? Because if you leave unpaid bills behind when you're raptured away, it's still stealing.

I've received a summons today that is delivered by a person to my home. It's Discover credit card debt and outstanding balance is about $9,000. I reside in Washington state and summon is from some attorney for plaintiff (Discover credit card) in Oregon State. I missed my minimum payment for about two months. The summon says I need to contact the plaintiff attorney in 20 days. Should I contact Discover card or the attorney? I can now pay minimum payment for two month which is about $400 and I don't know if I need to contact Discover and tell them I can pay the minimum or I need to contact the attorney.. I laid off about 3 month ago and desperately looking for job. Please advise what I should do with this attorney and Discover and if you're a Christian, please pray for me too. I'm 42 and worked hard but facing debts and need good advice. Thank you.
Well I doubt you're being sued after missing only two payments. It takes much longer than that. But either way I would call the attorney since if it really was given to you as an official summons, the lawyer is now handling the debt directly. I went thru this as well with another credit card company (although I worked for Discover at the time).
Just tell them your circumstance and that you are not working. Tell them you can either pay the past due amount or maybe offer to set up a monthly arrangement. Verify that they are now the ones in charge of the debt and NOT Discover. Most lawyers dont get emotional or try to threaten you, so if they act that way it may just be a collection agency (who are the scum of the earth). What I personally did was have a lawyer draft a settlement offer to make monthly payments on the contingency that they would NOT charge me interest. I also settled the total amt due at about 60% of the debt. They took that offer. Was worth having a lawyer draw up the papers for me, but you can just as well offer it directly to the lawyer yourself.
Good luck!
If you haven't, don't you think you need to start working on that? Our Lord will be returning any day now!
Working on it!
:)
And yes, He will return soon, I agree. And even if He delays His return, I want to be a good steward of what He has given me.
I could also die tonight and would want to minimize the burden I would leave to my wife and kids.

of course poor money management is probably what caused your troubles in the first place and living hand to mouth, but thats another topic.

when religion keeps out of politics and law-making, i'll keep out of exposing religion.
i could care less if you want to believe in an imaginary sky fairy. however when you try to push people to follow you and you have no authority to back you up (religion has zero evidence to prove its claims), then you MUST be called for bs.
stop peddling your beliefs and there is no cause to challenge them.
In the first place...not just Christians have money problems.!
Second of all...you are trying to cause problems because you obviously have doubt of God ...or you would not question it. If you really believe..it is settled...you just leave it alone.
Third...if you are an athiest and you are rude and disrespectful...maybe you NEED religion to be a decent human being who does not cause problems.
Fourth.....God is not going to heal our own mistakes. Those that make mistakes have to correct them...own them and take responsibility for them. Why does everyone expect to do as they wish and then yell to God that he isn't real because he doesn't take care of YOUR mistakes?
Oh...by the way....my house is paid for..my car is paid for....I have no credit cards but one and I only use it once a year to go see my husbands mother. I use my debit card or cash and if I can't afford it....I do what we have always done...SAVE for it. Can you say the same???
Fifth.....this was a stupid question...thanks for the two points.

Christian Credit Card Debt Solution ? for Concerned Christians
Have you ever heard of Christian credit card debt solution? It is quite evident that today, for an average American it is very normal to be in debt. It is a trend for most of them. Yet, you may find a patch of Christians not favoring the trend. For them, being in debt might be so suffocating as inhaling carbon monoxide. There can be many reasons for their not being able to accept the fact that they are in debt. One of them is their religion, Christianity.
For some Christians, it is against the dignity of a Christian to be in uncontrollable debt. Some Christians do not feel good in being in any kind of debt whether big or small. For some, it is all right to be under debt as far as it does not affect their finances and life-style. However, according to many, the debt-led life violates the norms of being a Christian. They strongly seek Christian credit card debt solution.
